Drop Dead Diva 2×06 “Begin Again” Clips & Caps |
21 July, 2010 |
In case you missed it, Candice was a guest star on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva this past Sunday! Did anyone watch it? I personally loved Candice’s hair color – it was much different from her role as Caroline. You can find more info on the episode (2×06 – “Begin Again”) here, but I’ve added clips and caps of her scenes to the site as well! Check out everything below!

‘Drop Dead Diva’ Promo Video/Guest Appareance |
15 July, 2010 |
According to TV Squad, Candice will play one part of rival music duo, Confetti, accused of murder on an upcoming episode of the Lifetime television show, Drop Dead Diva! I don’t watch the show, and I didn’t see anything on her IMDB page regarding this project, but a promo video for the episode has been released online, and Candice is definitely featured in it as a singer. :) So, make sure to tune into Lifetime THIS Sunday at 9pm EST/8pm central, because there’s a big chance that you’ll see Candice on the Drop Dead Diva episode, “Begin Again” – and she’ll probably have a few scenes where she sings!
I’ve added the promo music video to our media archive as well as 65 screencaps to our gallery – check them out! There’s also an article included below that talks a bit about the episode and Candice’s guest appearance.

Drop Dead Diva > “Begin Again” by Confetti (Promo Music Video) Screencaps
We love ‘Drop Dead Diva.’ The show is the perfect mix of heart, fantasy, love story and legal drama. And music — you can’t forget the music.
With sensationally fun numbers from star Brooke Elliott and the whole cast, as well as surprise duets with Judge Paula Abdul (shown), the show is kicking it up a notch with this week’s episode (Sun., July 18, 9PM ET on Lifetime), having Jane and Grayson defend a fictitious pop duo called Confetti. Played by actresses Candice Accola (‘The Vampire Diaries’) and Mackenize Mauzy (‘The Bold and the Beautiful’), the ladies have both been accused of murder … but that doesn’t mean they won’t be belting out a tune or two.
They’ve got the perfect song, ‘Begin Again,’ to go along with the episode of the same name, and we’ve got the exclusive music video for their big hit single. Fake singers? And a fake music video? Who cares — it’s pretty much just an awesome slideshow of some of the show’s biggest, best and funniest moments so far, and no ‘Diva’ fan can resist that.
The song is also part of the ‘Drop Dead Diva’ soundtrack, which has been on the Top Ten TV Soundtrack list on Amazon, and is also available on iTunes. (It’s also had me singing ‘Would I Lie to You’ along with Elliott and Margaret Cho all week. Not pretty, but that’s what this show does to me.)

“It’s Always The Innocent Ones” Album Scans |
13 July, 2010 |
Scans from Candice’s album “It’s Always The Innocent Ones” have finally been added to our gallery! You can find more information about the album here. I managed to get myself a copy of the CD (a difficult task because it’s only available online here in the US! I got a Japan import instead) and it arrived in the mail yesterday, so of course I wanted to share at least this much of it with you guys! I’m going to add song lyrics from the booklet as soon as possible as well – stay tuned for that!

“It’s Always The Innocent Ones” Album Scans
In other news, the entire cast of The Vampire Diaries is filming again back in Atlanta as I type this! The next few months are going to be really exciting for us TVD fans, that’s for sure!

Frederique Constant Passion Awards |
6 July, 2010 |
I mentioned originally that I thought Candice made a speech at the Passion Awards… well, I haven’t been able to find a video, but below is a quote by Candice, taken from an article posted on Frederique Constant’s blog.
Candice Accola said: “This evening as we speak about passion, Frederique Constant has recognized the American Heart Association for it’s passionate work in saving lives. The American Heart Association continues to remind us of the importance of keeping a healthy heart. And after all, doesn’t passion come from the heart?”

“Greek” Guest Star Appearance! |
4 July, 2010 |
I learned tonight that Candice guest starred in episode 2×20 – “Isn’t It Bro-mantic?” of the ABC Family show Greek last year! She plays a quirky old classmate of Evan; they are reunited when Evan and Cappie embark on a secret-society adventure. I don’t watch the show, so this was definitely news to me. I’ve added 5 clips to our Media Archive as well as 189 screencaps to our gallery!

Greek > Screencaps: 2×20 – “Isn’t It Bro-mantic?”
A lonely Casey meddles in Rusty’s new romance with Jordan. Elsewhere, Calvin finally gets a new roommate, and then he discovers that the guy has a surprising secret; and Evan and Cappie reignite their rivalry, this time over a secret-society member.

Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour Clips |
3 July, 2010 |
I’ve added two clips to our Media Archive from the behind the scenes footage of the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour that Candice participated in as a backup singer! Candice is featured throughout the performances as well, but I haven’t decided how I’m going to add those because I would basically be adding the entire movie in separate parts… I’ll have to think about it. Enjoy these for now, though!

Version 3 at Candice Accola Web = New Layout! |
2 July, 2010 |
I’ve finally managed to come up with a new layout for the site! My creative juices haven’t exactly been flowing lately, but thankfully this design came to me today. I decided to use the gorgeous Regard Magazine outtakes this time around! I hope it’s as refreshing for you guys as it is for me (I was definitely getting sick of our old layout, haha). Enjoy!
Refresh the page if you don’t see the new look! If you encounter any problems while you’re viewing the site, don’t hesitate to let me know. Thanks!
