‘Drop Dead Diva’ Promo Video/Guest Appareance

According to TV Squad, Candice will play one part of rival music duo, Confetti, accused of murder on an upcoming episode of the Lifetime television show, Drop Dead Diva! I don’t watch the show, and I didn’t see anything on her IMDB page regarding this project, but a promo video for the episode has been released online, and Candice is definitely featured in it as a singer. :) So, make sure to tune into Lifetime THIS Sunday at 9pm EST/8pm central, because there’s a big chance that you’ll see Candice on the Drop Dead Diva episode, “Begin Again” – and she’ll probably have a few scenes where she sings!

I’ve added the promo music video to our media archive as well as 65 screencaps to our gallery – check them out! There’s also an article included below that talks a bit about the episode and Candice’s guest appearance.

Drop Dead Diva > “Begin Again” by Confetti (Promo Music Video) Screencaps

We love ‘Drop Dead Diva.’ The show is the perfect mix of heart, fantasy, love story and legal drama. And music — you can’t forget the music.

With sensationally fun numbers from star Brooke Elliott and the whole cast, as well as surprise duets with Judge Paula Abdul (shown), the show is kicking it up a notch with this week’s episode (Sun., July 18, 9PM ET on Lifetime), having Jane and Grayson defend a fictitious pop duo called Confetti. Played by actresses Candice Accola (‘The Vampire Diaries’) and Mackenize Mauzy (‘The Bold and the Beautiful’), the ladies have both been accused of murder … but that doesn’t mean they won’t be belting out a tune or two.

They’ve got the perfect song, ‘Begin Again,’ to go along with the episode of the same name, and we’ve got the exclusive music video for their big hit single. Fake singers? And a fake music video? Who cares — it’s pretty much just an awesome slideshow of some of the show’s biggest, best and funniest moments so far, and no ‘Diva’ fan can resist that.

The song is also part of the ‘Drop Dead Diva’ soundtrack, which has been on the Top Ten TV Soundtrack list on Amazon, and is also available on iTunes. (It’s also had me singing ‘Would I Lie to You’ along with Elliott and Margaret Cho all week. Not pretty, but that’s what this show does to me.)
