| Candice Accola has voiced her support for Lyme Disease Awareness in various ways, such as posting important information on her Twitter account and talking in interviews about how she became aware of the harsh realities of such a victimizing illness. We, at Candice Accola Web, feel it is important to educate our visitors on the importance of understanding what exactly Lyme Disease is. Are you interested in helping out and spreading awareness? That's GREAT! There are so many ways that you can do so - look below for more info! Tell all of your friends and family! Now that you know a bit about Lyme, you should totally go tell everyone you know. I know that I wasn't even really aware it existed until very recently, which I find embarrassing! I assure you that the people around you will thank you later for informing them about something so important (and maybe saving them some embarrassment as well!). Spread the word online! Add one of the following Lyme Disease Awareness web bands to your personal blog or other website. These web bands are free for anyone to use. (Do you see ours in the left and corner of the site?) They will link your visitors to this site so that they can also learn about Lyme Disease. More web bands will be added soon! Instructions: Copy and paste the code below, and place it after your < body > tag. Replace Webband-learn-left with the name of the web band you would like to use.
Donate! If your funds allow it, you can donate to a cause that is fighting for Lyme. Donate to the Turn The Corner Foundation Donate to Under Our Skin's campaign Make a purchase! Lyme related merchandise is available around the web, so if you find a shirt design that suits you or a bumper sticker that you're willing to place on your car, purchase them asap! In most cases, more than half of the proceeds from merch sales goes to Lyme related causes and campaigns. |
